| Kengtek was founded in 2006 by chemical engineers Robert and Jocelyn Doucet who saw an opportunity to fill an industry void for a process-oriented consulting firm. The company is present in Canada, Europe and USA. It also benefits from strong relationships with universities, research chairs in energy and biorefining as well as federal research centers on food and agriculture. |

Robert Doucet has over 35 years of experience in the chemical and food industry. He boasts a successful track record with various processing industries including Dupont (PET processing), Schenley distillers, Molson and Labatt breweries and finally Nabisco and Kraft foods. His experience in project management and product processing has involved him in multiple facets of engineering, including processing of polymers, liquors and spirits, aseptic juices and vegetables.
Jocelyn Doucet, P. Eng., Eng., Ph.D., Principal Partner, Kengtek Engineering Services Inc.
Jocelyn Doucet completed his Ph.D. in 2008 in chemical engineering in the field of powder mixing and multiphase flows. He was involved in many aspects of multiphase reactor design, especially in the field of gold extraction, biomass pyrolysis, phosphorus removal and gasification. He also gathered extensive experience in the food industry while managing numerous projects with major food processors such as Kraft, Liberté yogurts, Baxter’s soups, and Lallemand yeasts.
Jonathan Bouffard, R&D Partner, Kengtek Engineering Services Inc.
Jonathan Bouffard as over 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially at Merck Frosst Research and Development Center. He specializes in complex pharmaceutical product formulation processes (granulation, spheronization, drying), with a particular focus on intelligent powder coatings.
